PREPARATION MATTERS
Some of the most important concrete work disappears underneath the finished slab. Depending on the project, our work may include:
Site Preparation
Layout, excavation, vegetation or material removal, grading, and preparing the work area.
Base Preparation
Establishing and compacting an appropriate base to provide stable support for the concrete.
Formwork
Building accurate forms to establish the dimensions, elevation, slope, and finished geometry of the project.
Reinforcement
Installing reinforcement appropriate to the project requirements and intended use.
Concrete Placement
Carefully placing and consolidating the concrete while maintaining elevations and planned drainage.
Finishing
Screeding, floating, edging, jointing, and applying the specified surface finish.
Cleanup
Removing construction debris and leaving the work area orderly when the project is complete.
The finished surface is what you see.
The preparation underneath it is what helps make it last.
FINISH OPTIONS
FUNCTIONAL DOESN’T HAVE TO MEAN BORING
Different applications call for different finishes. Depending on the project, available options may include:
BROOM FINISH
A classic, durable exterior finish that provides texture and traction while maintaining a clean appearance.
SMOOTH / TROWEL FINISH
Appropriate for certain protected or specialty applications where a smoother finished surface is desired.
DECORATIVE OPTIONS
For projects where concrete is part of the overall outdoor design, additional finish and detailing options may be considered based on project requirements.
We can discuss the intended use, appearance, maintenance, and budget during estimating to determine the right approach.
EXISTING CONCRETE
DEMOLITION & REPLACEMENT
Sometimes the right solution starts with removing what’s already there.
For appropriate projects, Wilkerson Craft can incorporate demolition, removal, site preparation, and replacement into the project scope.
That provides one point of responsibility from the existing condition through the completed replacement rather than leaving the customer to coordinate multiple pieces of the job.

STRAIGHTFORWARD FROM START TO FINISH
1 — Tell Us About Your Project
Start with our estimate request form. Give us a basic description, approximate dimensions, location, and photographs if available.
2 — Site Evaluation
When appropriate, we’ll visit the property to evaluate access, existing conditions, elevations, demolition requirements, drainage considerations, and other factors affecting the work.
3 — Clear Scope & Estimate
We’ll develop a written estimate defining the proposed work and pricing so both sides understand what is included before construction begins.
4 — Build
Once scheduled, we prepare the site and execute the work according to the agreed scope.
5 — Finish & Cleanup
We complete the finishing work, remove job-related debris included in the scope, and leave you with a completed project ready to become part of your property.
