Wilkerson Craft LLC is a Central Florida construction and fabrication company focused on concrete, exterior carpentry, and welding & metal fabrication.
We believe quality construction starts long before the first cut, pour, or weld. It begins with understanding the project, planning the work, selecting the right materials, communicating clearly, and paying attention to the details that determine whether something simply looks good when it’s finished—or continues performing years later.

MEET THE FOUNDER
A BUILDER’S MINDSET — ON AND OFF THE JOBSITE
I’m Daniel Wilkerson, founder of Wilkerson Craft.
Building and working in the trades aren’t a recent career change for me. I grew up in a family of tradespeople, and construction was where I first learned the value of skilled work, self-reliance, and taking pride in something built with your own hands.
I began working on construction projects while putting myself through college, gaining hands-on experience across remodeling and multiple trades. In my twenties, even after beginning my professional career as an engineer, I owned and operated a small residential remodeling business alongside my full-time engineering work. Building, repairing, fabricating, and working with my hands remained part of my life even as my primary career increasingly moved into technology and leadership.
Over the following decades, that other side of my career grew to include software and systems engineering, technical leadership, and program management, including complex projects where planning, budgets, schedules, requirements, risk, customer communication, and accountability mattered every day.
I never really left the trades behind.
Wilkerson Craft brings those two paths back together.
It combines a lifetime familiarity with construction and hands-on problem-solving with decades of experience planning and delivering complex professional work.
The same mindset that applies to a successful engineering program applies remarkably well on a jobsite: understand the requirement, develop a sound plan, anticipate problems, execute carefully, communicate clearly, and take responsibility for the result.
The difference is that at the end of a construction project, we get to stand back and see what we’ve built.
That’s hard to beat.

Some of the most interesting outdoor projects don’t fit neatly into one trade.
A project may begin with excavation and concrete, transition into a timber structure, and finish with custom-fabricated steel details.
That’s where the Wilkerson Craft model becomes particularly valuable.

Patios, walkways, pads, flatwork, site preparation, demolition and related concrete construction.
Exterior Carpentry
Pergolas, arbors, decks, outdoor structures and custom exterior wood construction.
Welding & Metal Fabrication
Custom brackets, steel components, architectural details and fabrication that can stand alone or integrate directly into a larger project.
Bringing those capabilities together gives us the flexibility to think about the whole project, rather than only the portion belonging to one particular trade.

That means understanding the scope before work begins, providing clear estimates, communicating when something changes, using appropriate materials and methods, respecting the customer’s property, and leaving behind work we’re comfortable attaching our name to.
We don’t believe craftsmanship and professionalism are separate things.
Both are part of the job.

Wilkerson Craft is intentionally beginning as a lean, owner-operated company serving customers throughout Central Florida.
That means our early customers benefit from direct involvement from the person responsible for estimating, planning, and executing their projects.
But we’re building with a longer horizon in mind.
As the company develops its project history, equipment, workforce, processes and partnerships, our goal is to responsibly expand into commercial construction and public-sector contracting, including opportunities with local municipalities, the State of Florida, federal agencies, prime contractors, and other organizations seeking capable small-business trade partners.
We’re not interested in appearing bigger than we are.
We’re interested in becoming more capable than we were yesterday.
